Pomegranate smoothie

Pomegranate smoothie is a sweet and healthy choice for breakfast

This morning started with a pomegranate smoothie and of course some sunshine. Something that happens fairly every day here in Malta. A country known for sunny days and kind people. Even though they say Maltese winter is here, for us it’s more like Swedish summer. The winter season in Malta offers the best range of fruit in my opinion. Citrus, pomegranates and so on.

So the breakfast smoothie of today is full of good stuff from an organic farm nearby. Ready to keep you going all day! And also an excellent way of ”hiding” nutrients in your kids meals.

You need:

  • 2 medium size ripe bananas
  • 1 small red pomegranate apple
  • 1 large orange peeled and cut in pieces
  • 2 dl organic yogurt
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp shelled hemp
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

How to:

Put all the ingredients in a blender or mixer and blend. Enjoy!
