After too many months of being sick back and forth I’m trying to live a healthier life starting my week with some savoy cabbage. I always try to focus on where my food is coming from. Where did it grow and how much nutrition is in it. Kale is always a good choice, and good alternative to many things. So here’s the recipe to a healthy side salad.
Savoy cabbage salad with lemon
- 1/2 of a small savoy cabbage head
- 1/2 of a lemon
- 1/2 tbsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Thinly slice the kale.
- Add salt and oil and “massage” it together with the kale.
- Add lemon zest and juice. Finish with drizzling olive oil and black pepper on top.
